Halloween Week

Our week was full of Halloween......We LOVE Halloween!!
Ashlyn was a dead corpse bride.

Austin was a "scream" skeleton.

And Mace was a "yo-ho pirate." Except he wouldn't wear it.

All the cousins met up at the Larsens for hot soup and fresh pie before
we went Trick-or-treating. It was a perfectly warm, autumn night!

The HAUNTED, SPOOKY FOREST at Murray Park! The kids were
spooked to say the least.

In between volunteering for Jake's class party and Ashlyn and
Austin's party, I babysat Dax and Trey. I had to get them in full
costume and off to school. (It was too reminiscent of my good,
ole' days with twins!!) Props to Misty! six. You are seriously super mom!

Jakers! I love your smile...the cutest storm
trooper ever! The school parade was a hit!
Happy Halloween.....

Let's go back....August 9, 2008

I want to go back and post some events of the past year so I will have it for my journal....so I thought I would start with Ry's Birthday!

Rules for the Stott Birthdays:
1. They only come once a year, so make it special.
2. They are not birthdays, but birthday weekends.

3. You must celebrate with family, friends, and yourself.

4.You have to eat, drink, and get all the wishes you want.

So this year for Ry's birthday, he told me that he wanted to lay low. Keep it small, no gifts..we are building a house. I said okay, and left it at that. Nope, he should know better. Ry did manage to go golfing and lunch with the guys. (friends) Get a massage. (yourself) and go to lunch with the kids. (family) But his birthday was not over... He needed a bigger celebration, it was his birthday. So when Ry was off getting a massage, me and the kids hit Macey's, Harmons, Zurchers, and the Buckle. We bought the balloons, banana cream pie (his fav), 30 ice-cold Coke a Cola's in the glass bottle (bought Macey's clean out), and a cute outfit from the Buckle. ( I do have to admit, that was actually my birthday present.) Later when Ry and I left the house that afternoon for a not so good Mexican lunch, the kids were in charge of setting up all of the loot: balloons, homemade cards, pie, cokes, presents, and music. Ashlyn was in charge of the ipod and she chose Jesse McCartney, "I'm Leaving." (hmm. I think boy crush) Then they got everything ready so when Ry walked in the door with Jesse McCartney singing, Mace dancing, and the kids screaming, suprise, then I knew he had a fabulous birthday! Happy Birthday Ry.

Sisterly love.....

Mace is the youngest of the Pack! We almost thought we would have a little sister, but he was a boy. We love our little Mace and wouldn't trade him for anything, but sometimes me and Ash still pretend he is "Avery!" To Ry's dismay he loves purses, high heels, and bright lipstick. We also learned that he loves to dance and sing to music. (gma suzy would be so proud!) We love you Mace! (gotta love the dress and necklace!)

Grandma and Grandpa!

We miss you!!!

We decided to start a BLOG because we wanted our grandparents to see what is going on in the Stott life......We miss both of you and wish the time to go faster!! We pray for both of you every night! Even Mace! Love ya all!!
