Reflection

I am always reminded by my kids.
About life.
and the real reason we are here:
It's about
The simple things.
When all the noise goes away, the craziness clears and the sun goes down,
we remember
what life is about:
(my kids responses)
Jesus, God, Families, Brothers, Pictures, Music, the Earth, Trials and the Sunshine...etc.
and in the end: the simple moments. and being together as a family.
My kids love love the Thankful Tree. They write and write...
I need this tradition in my home as much as my kids do.
I let myself get overwhelmed and worry about so many things
that just don't. simply. matter.
This Thanksgiving season, I am most grateful for my 4 kids,
Austin, Ashlyn, Jake and Mason.
They are my all.
Along with Ryan, the Stott family is healthy, happy, and thriving.
I couldn't feel more blessed.
Happy Thanksgiving week.
xo!

The Thankful Tree is one of my most favorite traditions too. It's crazy how the simple everyday things is what we cherish the most.

I hope you and your sweet family have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

Do you realized by being a Mom to anything or anyone you will leave behind your leaves of legacy. Your kids in a way represent your tree that you are giving the world. Kind of deep for the day before thanksgiving but , that was a lovely post.

Loved what your mama said. You are such a great mom, partly by her example I'm sure. I caught up on your blog. Now if I can only get caught up in mine. Thanks for reminding me about the simple things in life that we need to think about more often. Hope your Turkey Day was fab and now on to CHRISTMAS. You get to come twice to Utah. Lucky girl. Can't wait to see you. P.s I've been to Breckenridge!
