Schools out!
There is lots going on......
Here is a pic of the last day of school.
The cousin's met and walked to school together.
Can't tell they are T H R I L L E D huh?!

Field day's done.....
thank goodness..till next year!

To survive 5 hours of hot sun field day, I brought my
big diet coke, flip flops and bug sunglasses...
(do you think my glassses are too b i g?)
I do!
I did Jaker's class in the morning and the twin's in the afternoon.

Sweet mom moment:
(Jake's in the middle with the brown shirt and white shorts)
Jake won tug of war and the boys C E L E B R A T E D around him....
The entire 1st grade chanting Jake's name L O U D L Y.
"Jake Jake Jake."
When they won,
you think he won the lottery they were all so H A P P Y....
Jake got clobbered and fell to the ground with 200 boys on top!cute moment.
So that night, we needed a break from the kiddos. Ry and I went with Misty and Bri to the Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband concert.
Loved being outside in the open summer air, enjoying the music.
Misty and I with my bug glasses.

The song playing on my blog is Ryan Shupe, Dream Big.
I think that is the only song we liked.
Misty and Bri dancing in front of the whole crowd.
sweet really-
Ry and I snuck a pic...it was F U N N Y!
Then on Saturday night after we layed our 11 pallets of grass,(still sore)
Cindee came into town- (RY's sis)
Cindee-Lou
we love you!

~my kids love her.
~she adores my kids and they love her back.
~ she has never missed a birthday or a holiday.
~a gift in the mail every time.
~it means a lot to Ry and I that she cares so much for our kids.

They played games, jumped on the tramp,
went on walks, made ice cream sundaes, sat on the porch
and ended the night with a movie!
she's the greatest aunt~
oh and the boys danced and danced with Cindee.
Thanks for coming girl-
We love you!!
and
my last thought.......
Why can't I sew?
Why can't I make a pillowcase or a quilt? (ok well sort-of)
But what happened to the good ole' days when
our momma's sewed all of our clothes~
beautiful little summer dresses and simple flowing tops?....
(I have pics of all the cutest dresses my grandma made my mom...)

Grandma Penny (my momma and her sister Janet)
sewed this dress for Ashlyn.
It's beautiful!
Ash still loves pink and the dress fits her perfectly.
It amazes me really.
sewing.
wish I could do it.

Thanks Grandma Penny. L O V E IT.
20 more days and counting d o w n-yes!
Hope your all having a great summer too!
