Welcome Fall.

I love you Fall.
I really do.
And can I say....fall brings so much
nostalgia
for me.
simply sweet.
I miss my Utah fam the most when the leaves change
and Halloween draws near.

Pumpkin pies start to appear at stores, and
Thanksgiving decorations are on the shelf.
o00h how I love these
next. few. months.

and can I say to you dear blog,
I miss you.
I simply do.
and I miss pictures and collages
and capturing life moment by moment.
my days are filled.
They are just so busy. but wonderful
Life is literally nonstop.
fun. enjoyment. fullfillment.
but so so
busy.
that is an understatement.
honestly.
I have never been this swamped.
I mean in a good way.
In a raising a family of four way.
The kids are so involved.
in school, in sports, and in all their activities.
Jake is competitive soccer, Ashlyn rec soccer.
Austin began competitive basketball and Jake overlaps
with basketball-
Ry with his softball leauges weekly,
my young women calling wednesday, sundays.
Love it all.
But honestly- non stop.
Last week I clocked 75-91 miles a day.
A day!
I burned through 2 tanks of gas in a 5 days.
And I can't complain, I love being a stay at home mama,
but man, we work overtime. Our days are crazy.
I am loving that fall is here, but had no time to take it all in.
I want to stop, enjoy the days, feel the breeze,
put my pumpkins out,
and feel the nostalgia.
We had soccer tournaments all weekend and basketball too.
7 games yesterday, all over this Denver area.
Ry and I love it. Love watching our kids excel and work hard.
Jakes team beat the #1 team (in State) Ireland! (yes finally!)
and Austin lead his tourn in rebounds (way to go bud!)
It teaches them so much about life, making goals, and following through.
It doesn't leave much time for much else.
school, work, sports, church and a little bit of play.
But I love you life, I really do.
As busy as you are, I am trying to soak up all of these little moments,
tuck you away and remember,
remember what it was like to be in the middle
of all of this hustle and bustle.
because I love it. and my life, and my kids.
and my dear husband who works so dang hard
so this can all happen.
I love you Ry
and
I love you my kids.
Now hopefully I can jump on board on blog again,
more consistently.
It's my favorite time of year,
the colors, the sights, the smells...
it is fabulous.
Welcome Fall.
xo!

Big Beach BLUES. Maui

Oh man, Our FAV beach! Big beach.
B E A U T I F U L
Ry walking into the ocean.
The C O L O R S...were so mesmerizing. Look at the blue sky..it contrasts
with the gray sky with the B L U E S of the ocean.
Ry and I went on a walk and went up on the bluff above Big Beach.
We sat and stared at this view...spectacular. S I M P L Y beautiful.
Another view :) gorgeous colors!
The days were hot and sunny.
Clouds rolled in and out all day.
It made the ocean B L U E S look so pretty.

Big Beach Blue Bliss..
what a day we had.
Like I said earlier, this was our first trip to Hawaii.
It was great to see the tropical beauty.
(so different from the Caribbean. which we LOVE and still Ry's fav)
snorkeling..or Road to Hana next!

L I F E' S P H O T O S

The house is quiet. The kids and hubby are nestled away sleeping tight.

But me, I can't quite sleep.

To much running through my mind.

It happens at night, right? The kids down, the noise away, our thoughts start to come and we can focus more.

I am moving in less than 3 weeks. So much to think about. I feel overwhelmed but so calm too.

Is that possible? I think so.

Hard for us to grasp sometimes, leaving much behind. But also taking SO much with us too. So much love from everyone.

The picture above is the first pic I took with my new camera (Nikon 5000). I love my new camera, I love photos. I need them in my life.

Soon my frames will all be wrapped up and shipped onward to our new home.

A new home that I will make our own. And fill it with all my wonderful photos of my family and friends.

I will try to make it feel full of love. My photos daily reminders.

But tonight my simple thought is one of gratitude. Yes, gratitude.

I look at all my photos and I have much to be grateful for.

I am grateful for my camera, the photos, and the memories behind each and everyone of them.

I have pics of the kids playing in the waves at the beach house, secret sister birthday lunches and lazy days at the parks. I have pics of warm summer days at the secret pool and Family trips to Moab. I have pics of Thrillin Thursday with the cousins hiking up the mountain, playing in the fountains at the Gateway, and game day at the park. I have pics of Ry and I stepping on the Beach shore's feeling the wind in Miami, kayaking through the crystal blue waters in the Bahamas, and enjoying the sunsets of the Keys. I have beautiful pics of Mount Olympus and my Rocky Mountains changing colors with each season. I have pics of every holiday from July 4th fireworks to Christmas morning with all the lights aglow. I have pics of both Gma's and Gpa's coming home from their missions, first greets and hugs by the families. I have pics of summer bbq's in our backyard and playing 4 square into the sunset of the night. I have pics of us playing at the secret pond, fishing for catfish, the cousins all sitting next to each other.

I have pics of so many of you, of my family

and my friends.

I am grateful because they will remind me of here, always.

My H O M E in Salt Lake....

MY L I F E P H O T O S.

love them.

and glad I took so many pics that remind me of what

makes my life so happy:)

and post edit: I have been developing all of my favorite pics and been buying way to many cute new frames to put them in. I feel like I am "somewhat nesting" getting ready for this move. It will make me happy to have all these great memories in our new home!)
