(This blog is dedicated to Gma Suzy, who is serving a mission in Kirtland, OH who always makes sure we do our FHE :) So here you go:
So last night for F.H.E were were supposed to go see the Temple Lights but Ry called in the morning and said his Account Executives were in town so he was coming home late. Well, I had to come up with another plan.
Eggnog toasts and chocolate rewards. The past couple of days I've noticed the kids have "been on each other" fighting and arguing! Sounds normal for kids, yes, but I was tired of it so I did a FHE around why they should be grateful for each other! Sounds cheesy but I remember my mom and dad did this FHE ever year and us kids secretly liked it. I made them all write down what they liked about the other person on a piece of paper and then they got to read all of the compliments. At first the kids were not excited, but when they read back their paper, they were smiling. It made them feel good!

"We read them out loud and toasted to having "each other." Then we opened up the sweet, creamy, Dove chocolates and read the messages inside. The Dove chocolates have the best sayings! Our favorite was:"Life may change us but we start and end with family." Fitting for the occasion. I liked mine that said, "Take 5 deep breaths when needed!"
We almost ate the entire bag!
After it was over, Mace stayed and finished everyone's eggnog! I don't think he felt to well when he was done. In the pic he looks like he is going to lose all his eggnog!
Yeah! It finally snowed today! Don't you love the snow for Christmas? It made us all so happy.
16 days and counting....! Merry Christmas!
