I come from a large family, 1o kids: 5 sisters, 4 brothers...And one tenacious, loving, selfless mom who gave her life to raise us all. She did it willingly and happily, understanding the "bigger picture" of life, always knowing what is important and willing to give up just about everything for herself to give to her children. She is intelligent, beautiful, caring, and understanding. In between preparing warm breakfast every morning, making 7 cold lunch sacks daily, bouncing babies off her hip (2 sets of twins), cooking up a hot dinner nightly(6:00 promptly), doing 10 loads of laundry a day, organizing, shuttling, serving in her callings (you get the picture..!), she always had a warm hug and a listening ear. She taught us the importance of the gospel and gave us a strong foundation of who we each are. She taught through her example of the importance of motherhood and the importance of our divine roles as mothers. She gave us wisdom daily and taught us to always reach our potential.
I can't imagine living my mom's life, I know I couldn't do it. That is why she is who she is. She was picked to come to this earth and raise us 10 Brown kids and be our mom. I love her. We all love her and can't even come close to thanking her for what she has done for us!

I meant to post my sisters oldest to youngest and it didn't work..so they are in random order. This is my sis Amber and I. We are in Oceanside, California. We are very close in age.... She is a year and a half older than me. We shared lots of friends and life experiences growing up. Amber is the giving sister, she would give you all she had to help you. She is sensitive to everyone around her and always willing to do anything for you. She is also definitely the best cook of the family. She can make anything...soup, salads, desserts that are soooo delicious! We tell her to write a book and publish her recipes! She is a great mommy too. She has 3 adorable kids!!
Misty and I in Playa Del Carmen. Misty is the second oldest sister. I think words can't really describe Misty's fun-loving, happy, personality. Maybe that's why she attracts people to her like a magnet. She always wants to have fun....she can tell a story like no other and have you rolling on the floor! She is also a selfless and a loving momma...she is raising 6, yes 6 children! She has 5 boys and one girl! Ahhhh! She rounded out her family with twin boys at the end: Dax and Trey(who are now 3) . Words can't describe our adventure with those boys...but us sisters love them like our own!
Jan is the oldest and probably wisest sister. She was always the peacemaker and the one who helped my mom the most. She still is the most practical and smart out of all of us! She could do it all...perfect grades, played sports, had lots of friends and (cute boyfriends.). She is the cutest momma to 5 children: 3 girls 2 boys! They are a perfect family with talented kids and smart brains! We are so glad they moved back from Cali to Utah. They were gone 16 years! (Jan is the one with the blond hair and her oldest daughter, Marissa, is next to her...can you believe she has an 18 yr. old?! Jan is a hot momma for sure)
Brookie, my cute sis! She is 3 years younger than me. Brooke is a fun, out-going, adorable person. She had tons of friends growing up. Maybe thats because she felt like she was sandwiched in between the two sets of twins and didn't get a lot of attention, but I beg to differ:) She is probably the closest to my mom. (Well maybe she is in competition with Brie oh and Misty...hmmm)
Besides her great smile, she is a great sister to all of us..always has a listening ear. She is smart and such a great mom to 2 boys! We love Josh and her second son, Blake is Mason's best friend! (In the pic above) I will live 5 houses away from her when our house is done! Yeah! (oh and I will live 7 away from amber and maybe 12 house from Misty! )
Brie is my youngest sis! Her and I are 7 years apart. She is a hot momma, former model, and a fashion-ista! She is probably in competition to Jan for her brains...she can write and keep her audience enthralled...(unlike me, I hate English and love math!) She passed all the A.P. tests in high school and did it without a problem. She is a fabulous momma to Cade man. She is a strong person in character and is always looking for the good in life!

I know I am truly blessed to have such great sisters in my life. I think we all know now how important family is and how we all need each other in our lives. I have 4 fabulous sis-in- laws and will post about them soon!
