saturdays. sunny days. mace's big day :)

I love Saturdays around here. They are busy and non-stop. I wake up and run my 13, then we are off to S P O R T S! A L L DAY. going to football fields, soccer fields...cheering on the kids. We love it. (Mace with all his buddies...Jake's soccer game field) It was a warm happy sunny day :)

The days in Colorado are always sunny. It brightens my days:) ((and so sorry for the spaces and the BIG lettering...I don't know what's going on to my blog. the more I fix, the more it breaks :) ahhhh)).

and spring has sprung around here. beautiful!

We signed the boys up on a team with all of our friends boys.

Jake, Austin, Dalton, Brayden and Beck are all on a football team.

The boys love it. They get to hang with their buddies.

Then us parents can come hang out each Saturday.

They practice for an hour and play a game for an hour.

we bring all our younger kids and let them all run around together.

Parents: Stacie and Darren, Matt and Amy, Mandi and Mike, Tawny and Ry.

It makes Saturdays so fun :)

The boys won the first game 48-6 and then lost the second game 24- 26.

Austin had the opening play and touchdown! way to go Austin :)

Aus w/ the ball. Jake in the red shorts

The best part of Saturdays, we are all together. We go as a family and watch Austin and Jake's football games. Then we are off to Jake's soccer games. Mace is buddies with all the other parents little ones...they just roam around the parks, exploring up and down, making up games, chasing each other around. It is fun. RY and I have made some great friends with our sports teams.

Jake has an amazing soccer team. These boys are top in state. But that doesn't matter much to me. Really it's the relationships he has built and what he's learning out on that field.

Their team motto: R E A C H.

Respect. Effort. Attitude. Courage. Heart.

These boys are his best buds. Jake can't wait to go to his 3 practices and games every week. His coaches have really brought these boys together to perform their best on the field and off the field. We love team Dynamite.

Then after the games, Ry and the boys play out on the fields.

They could do this all day. (and they do!) I love it. Ry is the best dad. He loves to spend time with his boys. With no brothers, Ry just feels so lucky to have 3 sons. and it shows :)

Over the weekend. My Mace Man turned 5. wow!

His birthday party is this Friday at Monkey Bizness with all his friends.

But Saturday, after all the games, it was Mace's day.

He picked lunch, movie, and football. Done.

We went to the Movie Rio and then he wanted the McD's toy after.

(yes! he chose mcd's! goodness :) We all went to lunch and

then to play some football outside. It was a fabulous day! :)

Mace got one gift from us: A Nintendo D.S with Iron man game

and Megamind game.

Perfect. fun day.

I wanted to document at least one Saturday because they are so

fun/ crazy around here! Most Saturdays are this busy.

Ry and I enjoy it and so do the kids.

Most the day, we are all together off to our adventures!

I thought I would end with a fun lil picture.

Aus and Jake's opposing football team spectator/ coach.

He was a funny guy, really into the game.

And he was dead serious about his get up.

It brought a little smile to our faces.

Gotta love Colorado and our adventures!!

xo!

Haha. I love the last pic too. It might be sunny there, but it's always rainy here and our grass is a ton greener than your grass. It looks like we live in some lush rain forest. No sprinklers needed this year. I am jealous of your sun though. I love Saturdays too. Mine are a little different watching dance in doors, but I still love them. Happy Bday to your Mace man. Your baby is FIVE!!! How does that feel. Can't wait to see you in 10 days. That's crazy. Glad you have our itinerary planned.

Wow! Holy Saturday games! And to me, nothing could be better. Although it has been nice that High School sports are no longer played on Saturday. So only 2 kids have games, I just don't know when we're going to stop with the kids playing two sports each! One day, I think we'll look back and wonder how the heck we did 'Saturday'.:)How fun to just watch and hang out with the friends!
And Happy Birthday to your big guy baby Mace!!! Tell him Lukie and I wish him a BIG Happy Bday!
xoxo

Sorry so late commenting. Your Saturdays seem great. I would be jealous of you all if I was about well, so many years younger! Mace is a great kid and he is missed so much around here. He is a darn cute 5 year old!
