Yesterday I said goodbye to Ashley. It was so hard. We cried, and we hugged like little babies. Honestly we were a sight to see. Our crying turned into laughing.
It was late, dark outside. Her house packed up, her kids asleep. They were soon, ready to wake up ....and venture back to Utah.
Her home. Their home.
I had to sneak over for one, last goodbye.
They had 3 lovely years here in Broomfield.
With new journey's and directions that requires them to go back to Utah near family. I cried when my Ry told me the news. Ashley was my rock, my best friend. A smile on her face always, laughter always. Positive was all she knew. Her zest for life, contagious. Her baby girls, 18 months. So cute. The best mom. Ashley and I were dear friends, turned sisters, nothing we couldn't talk about. Love that girl.
We both believe we were meant to have this year to create a friendship that will always be.
Excited for her new adventures. So grateful that she made my Colorado home so fabulous. Ry and I are so grateful for her and Ryan.
(the day we pulled up, they were mowing our lawn :) a year ago!
We have met some great friends that are now family to us.
Good luck Ashley Lou! Love u girl!
(see you in Utah...we will be chatting over diet cokes and those delicious pink sugar cookies soon enough. yes!)
