We went up and stayed with 3 familes in Granby, Colorado.
Our cabin LOVE.
It was incredibly relaxing. We had time to just chill, chat, and hang out. The kids played back and forth between the fun cabin and exploring the wild outdoors. Us adults (JoDee and Bryan, Stacie and Darren, Tawny and Ryan...) had a great time. We went fishing with the kiddos, we bbq off the back deck, the boys went golfing on the breathtaking course, the girls layed out on the grass and enjoyed the mountain air. We went on walks and hikes and soaked up the sun. We were in bliss. we skipped jake's soccer tournament and all the craziness back home and just

Granby is beautiful. I woke every morning and ran 6 miles. We were 9, 280 feet above sea level. It was a tough run, but I loved looping up and down the mountain ski trails. Ashlyn, Mace and I hiked down to the boys and their fishing lake. It was serene. The views up at Granby, went on for miles. wow.

Oh man I was sad to go. Life starts full speed. I loved just to forget about it all and just R E L A X. One more adventure under the Stott's belt....to many more to come!
As the song says, "it's gonna be a good life, a good life.....oh YES it is.

I love that song. They sang it on Biggest Loser! Ever since then, I love it. What a fun weekend away. It's always nice to relax and not think of things to do. Looked beautiful!! Ashlyn's post about the bunnies made me miss ours. I loved seeing her hop around the back yard. Fun times in CO for you all! Never hear from ya. Summer must be too much fun!
Your photos are so gorgeous! One day we will go on the other side of the continental divide and see Granby!
My guys left for a 23 day road trip from GA to CA and back and I join them tomorrow in Vegas then to Calif and back to Ariz. From Vegas we will be stopping in St. George--not for an overnight but just to visit, then the north rim of the grand canyon, Page, AZ, etc. So excited.
