Family. It's surreal...at least out here in my CO world. BUT a fabulous surprise: we now have my brother and sis in law 1 hour and 1/2 away! A simple 90 min. Down South. They came up on Saturday and hung out with us. Oh it was quite dreamy really. coming from Utah (32 years) and having family 24/7 and then in CO..not having any. But what a fabulous gift...my brother and fam, now living so close. And another huge treat: My sister, Amber. stayed with us for 4 days. Man, we love that girl. She came Thurs and I dropped her off just now (SAD)...at the airport. Tears all around. My kiddos LOVE her, adore her, think she is their second mommy. She is sweet and kind, and caring. She is fun and just so darn giving.... Of her heart, her time and of herself. We love Amber and were sad to see her go. But what a treat for us. She helped me with my baby shower Thursday, we played Fri ( 6 hours at the pool) then she helped cheer Ashlyn on for her triathalon on Saturday (oh so fun! pics to come) and then we spent the REST of the day (at our pool..hot summer sun, oh yes!) with my brother Brandon, his wife Em, (and their 2 kids, Jax and Claire!!) Man oh man, a fun weekend for The Stott Fam. We were so happy. Family. It is such a gift. Saturday evening, the twins watched all the kids, and us adults went to dinner at Hacienda and chatted the night away! 4 years since we have spent time with Brandon. Oh I loved it. thanks you guys. :)
To many more fun weekends ahead. Cousin love can continue. Oh yes. Thanks Bran and Em, and Amber for a fabulous time. We will miss you Aunt Ambie! loves to you all!
