A moment.

Oh man, today I am sentimental. (but just for a moment! you know those "moments")

For Utah,
not to move back there, no..
but for the love.

Don't get me wrong, we have so much love here.
But
it's not quite the same here yet. You all understand...
The holidays create feelings for me. So much of that revolves around
family.
My family: my sisters/brothers families, cousins, grandparents...
Our 2009 was filled up with so much of that...
But I knew, we both knew 2010 would bring new journey's,
new paths, traditions, and new faces...
And that we have found, I didn't even know relationships like that existed..friends turning into family....friends who mean the world when no family is around...
so C H E E R S to new friends, new families, and new experiences!
But I had a simple moment of nostalgia..(that's okay right?!)
With a fun Utah buddy for dinner yesterday (thanks Seth!) and my parents almost here on Thursday...(ohhh can't wait!)
My heart is a little soft!
Holidays are my favorite, I get so excited to create a magical Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas....
And we are doing that here,
In fact, tonight we dropped all sports and are headed to the biggest pumpkin patch ever (it's huge! wide open space)..just the Stott family. Together. Hot chocolate, pumpkins and good memories.
Me, Ry, the kids...ahhhh L I F E.
I just love it.

that's all that really matters.
Now thanks for listening...

Time to move on, much to do, also get the house ready for the most exciting guests! (my parents first time here!) Can NOT wait.
love, love, love!
And do you likey this song by Casting Crowns... I do! It creates the perfect mood for the Holidays.
my 3's:
1. good friends
2. dark chocolate brownies (from Costco..oh divine)
3. memories. (old and new!) and creating. them. each. day.

Service: Waking up at the crack of dawn today (which I already do...)to take the twins before school to the Earth Fair at their school..stopping at the 7-11 first to get cash back so they could buy fossils! ( I never carry cash) The clerks got a kick out of my crazy hair and pj's. Loved that my kids were excited to go to the Earth Fair (give up sleep and go)...I will do anything to promote that! That is service right :)
loves! xo!
(and speaking of my 3's... this story (click on it) : my kids and I were talking about how grateful we were that our Utah cousins were okay that winter day last year...
