Don't you love this sunset?! We were driving down "to the valley" last night for Ali and Jayden's birthday party at the Monsen's and the sunset was incredible.....!
This pic was taken at the top of Creek Road looking down into Willowcreek. My favorite part of the pic are all the pine trees nestled in the valley and then how they meet the horizon up on 1300 East. And then of course the outline of the Oquirrh Mountains are always so beautiful!
My cute niece Ali turned 17 and her sweet missionary Jaden, turned 19. He leaves on his mission in one week! Good luck to both of you!

That made me miss the Mountain House. I can't tell you the number of times I have taken beautiful pictures of the sunset.
Try going out at night and looking east over the mountains. The moon is so beautiful and it seems as though you can touch it.
At my new house, I can never manage to even find the moon.

i love living in the mountins! and i don't blame brooke for wanting to live up there again! even though we are late for school somtimes and are far away from friends. i still love it! so i love that mom takes pichtures. it will help us remember the good times we had in the mountins! (and the bad times)
Brooke, you are SO right! I have noticed the moon over the EAST mtns is HUGE!! Mace always reaches for it and tells the moon to come down. Serial it is beautiful! WE do consider ourselves lucky to have the mtn. house and everything that goes with it like long drives, cooler air, and oh ya 2 TARANTULAS!!
