Friday night was our friend Christmas party. Ry's been buddies with "the guys" since Junior High School....they have experienced "life" together. We have all been to each other's weddings, baby births, and special occasions. We try to get together once a month to just hang out and laugh. In the pic we are missing two couples. One of them is my bro Brandon and Emily who are living in Germany.(Brandon is currently a surgeon for the army.)The other, Jamie and Jason Neals met us after dinner.
I met Ryan through my brother (they were best friends growing up!) and I was adopted into the group quickly. We love our friends and cherish our friendship's. They would do anything for us as we would for them! Love ya guys!
Snow anyone?? The Mountain House got at least a foot of snow...it was beautiful to see all the big, fluffy snowflakes fall. On Saturday, we had sooo much to do and we were worried because we were almost snowed in! After Jake's basketball game (he scored 18 pts. yay! Gpa Jerry would be proud) We had to meet the carpet guy at our house and we had to go the L O N G way down to the valley!
Later in the day it was the Annual Brown Cousin Christmas Party!!
I think there are almost 30 grand kids in the Brown clan. We split them all up and play games for each age group. My treat bowl was full of creamy, delicious chocolates....:)
Here is a pic of some of us girls. We all have our winter boots on!
All the kiddos lined up for the Sing-a-long....how the kids love the singing. It is there favorite activity of all. Something about singing Christmas songs fills their little hearts with the Christmas spirit. I think we sang every Holiday tune.........!
Thanks to Misty who is the talented musical prodigy of the family. She can play just about everything....her guitar was perfect! Jakey, Dax, Trey (twins), and Lani helped her out with the kids favorite song of all: Santa's Red Nose
Are we cute or what? Here is a pic of my twin bro and his little boy, Carson. Mace and Carson are a couple of weeks apart...so fun for them! BTW, Troy and Kristin just got back from a week in Hawaii...they were so tan! We were all so jealous.
Later that night, Ry took Austin and his Junior Jazz team to the Jazz game and I took Ash, Jake, and Mace to Misty's ward dinner. It was so nice to watch their program about Baby Jesus and why we really celebrate Christmas! After the party I took the kids on to the Target! It was late and it was so full of Holiday shoppers. We were all running around trying to find the perfect gift...I love it!
So that was our Christmas crazy weekend. It was so fun to have all the Christmas parties and spend time with all of the people we care about!
Merry Christmas..........11 days and counting! It's coming fast....

It makes me feel a little nostalgic to see the picture of your old house. I'll be glad when the new house is done and you can move back to the valley. It was fun having you at our ward Christmas party. Whit LOVED having Ashlyn there.
Kim, We all drove by the old house and we were sad- It's so surreal when you have all the memories of your house and it is not yours anymore!! We can't wait to be back by all of you.
BTW, You and Mark and Gabrielle made the perfect Navitiy setting...I even teared up a little!:) Thanks for letting us come and be apart of your ward! Your fam did such a good job in the play.
Cutest ever. I loved the cousin party too. It worked out well and the kids were so happy!
Thanks for posting so quick. I almost could imagine myself there!! Thanks to everyone for making a tradition so lovely and special for the kids. I love you all
