The Perfect Day!

So stop laughin' at the cheesy pic of Ry and I. We like it! :) It was taken in the Apple Orchards in Provo. Don't ya just love the tree's in the fore ground!? I do!
So anyways, today was a perfect day! Ry surprised me and came home from work early and pronounced that we had an "official date" . That is hard for us to come by considering we have such busy lives and usually the kids rule our world!
I was soooo excited to get out and even more so when we pulled up to my all-time favorite place to eat: Macaroni Grill.

The food was so. Heavenly. Divine. The table had all my favorites layed out on it. The pic says it all....Warm, soft, bread dipped in oil and vinegar. Then Pasta Milano layered in creamy bow tie, seasoned chicken, and flavorful pine nuts. And of course to make it a perfect meal, Diet Coke with a little Vanilla. MMMMM! I was so happy. Then Ry knows I love to Christmas shop at the mall which he tries to always avoid but he drove straight there and we shopped for a wonderful 2 hours. Purchases included a dress for Chloe ( my twin bro new baby), Wii game for a cousin Christmas party, new chocolate-brown Gap coat for Mace, and a splendid, festive Buckle shirt for me and Ry for our Holiday parties coming up! We then looked at the clock and realized we were 20 minutes late to pick the kids up from school. Thanks to my sis Amber who brought them all to her house and told us to take our time! So sweet.

WE then picked up the kids and pulled up in front of our house and reminisced about the day when we might actually live there...! They are putting stucco on tomorrow. Yeah!!
Oh and the date was not yet finished because we had to go to the movies and get my favorite mouth-watering, kettle corn...the salt and sweet together is the best.
Thanks Ry for our hot date. Hopefully many more to come....! Luvs
(BTW, the song playing is "our" song! We put it as our opener in our wedding vid~!)

Don't you miss the days of "young love" and "dates?" Sounds like fun.
BTW,the picture is cheezy, but you will have it forever to look at when you get really old.
