Bear Lake Bliss part 2

Oh lovely days.

The sun was out, the lake was beautiful and the skies were filled with wispy clouds.

The color BLUE was E V E R Y W H E R E.

Every year, my parents plan a trip for all the Browns to get together.

Last 2 years: Green River and Moab.

This year, a new venture: Bear Lake, St. Charles Idaho.

We were able to book it with my sis-in-laws parents ! (primetime)

The weather was perfect, the lake was warm and there was so much to do with the kids!

Here are some highlights: (after ALL the pics...)

Here we go:

~Ry and I 3:00 a.m arrival Wed night(so we wouldn't miss
anyone!) our drive: 8 hrs. Everyone elses's: 2 1/2.) Cute Ry (so exhausted) would stop the car every 30 minutes and run around it 20 times to stay awake! The rest of us snoozed! thanks Ry.
~Brett and Angela waking up at 3 a.m to help carry all our stuff in! How sweet is that!
~Watching all the families drive in one by one~ (Browns, Memmotts, Monsens, Larsens, Browns, Brookie, Brie, Bran, Mom and Dad! Brett and Ang and Penny already there!)
~Hugh's homemade mexican food: Beef brisket with crispy cheese over the grill! yum
~ Bear Lake fresh shakes at the Bear Cave with Troy and Kristin. (till the mosquitos ate us alive!)
~Hiking through Mennatonka caves with Dad, Troy, Ry and the kids (and loving our tour boy guide sing opera to us :)
~Ping pong tournaments every night.

~Mud fights with the cousins!
~Mace and Lani sleeping in the bunkbed nook together.
~Lighting thunderstorm just out our windows. The crack of thunder was the loudest I have ever heard. (It woke up the entire cabin. But we loved it!)
~Looking at the night sky and seeing more stars than ever.
~Mom's homemade egg quiche with fresh fruit.
~My long runs to the Bear Lake North shore, the views amazing!
~Sharing rooms with Amber and Ty.
~Talking all night with Jan, Brooke, Ali and Misty. and talking all day every day with my girls! yay.

~Floating softly on the waters of Bear Lake in the sunshine!
~Ali coming home from Europe and spending time with us!
~Pirate day put on by Grandma Penny and 1/2 the girls. The kids loved all the games and the treasure hunt.
~Hugh's homemade peach cobbler made in the dutch ovens.
~Running out to Bear Lake Beach and playing the day away in the sun.
~All the guys playing a 9 holes of golf in St. Charles. They loved time for just the guys! No wives and kiddo's.
~Nightly walks with the sisters to the flag sticking out of the farmers fence. Lovely nights (lots of hawks and bunny rabbits!)

~Chatting with Kristin standing in the Lake.
~Dad's awesome devotional on Sunday morning. Savy and Mari sang, TY spoke on H.G, Brendan's testimony on serving a mission! cool.
~Listening to all the cousins play and play the days away....happy moments.
~Chilling with RY on the upper deck looking out to the blue waters of Bear Lake.
~Lexi and Mace dancing their hearts out to Taylor Swift and Lady Gag.a
~Mace playing and playing with the 6-pack again: Mace, Carson, Blake, Cade, Dax and Trey....
~Our Birthday party! (the other 1/2 of the mama's put on) obstacle courses, making flags, our parade, cupcakes and birthday gift bags.

~Kids downstairs climbing the rock wall! Landri and Lexi zipped on up!
~Austin, Cole, Quinn, and McKay inseparable.... total BUDS. (for life~)

~Ohhh those greasy, yummy fries (with fry sauce) at the Bear CAve (after our hike)!
