Brown Family.
We just pulled in from the most wonderful vacation at Bear Lake (with all the Brown family.)
It was bliss.
Really I cherish every moment I have now with my family. I have been gone for 2 and half months and it is such sweet reunions (especially for my kids with their cousins!)
But being away has taught me something:

Family is everything.
and I have the best family. And I do not take it for granted.
Man, we had a great time. It was a fabulous 4 days.
It was everything and more.
A beautiful cabin that fit us all so comfortably. (my sis-in-laws cabin. thanks Ang!)
WE did it all.
My mom organized fun filled days.
She wanted it to be like Dan in Real Life. (the movie)
and that it was!

I took 277 pictures!
I have so many to sort through and fun adventures to tell....
I wanted to put a few up to look at.
In a nutshell: we swam,
we hiked, 
underground caves! awesome.

we played games,
we had cook-outs,
we had stories,
we had long walks, we had crafts,
we had girl time (braiding cute hair and chatting!)
we simply had BLISS. (and yes, I have already said that many times...)
I got to see a few cute people like Baby Penny.
oh how babies grow so fast...

They change the most.
and cute sisters like Brie.
and catch up with the family I love!
and yes, I cried as I pulled away.

I was brave saying goodbye, but I hugged everyone
and each time my lump got a bit larger.
By the time I hugged my nieces and nephews,
my eyes were brimming with tears under my sunglasses.
I love these people.
and being away makes it that much sweeter.
We are grateful for our new adventures in CO but we also know
it's hard to leave the family.
But we love you and are grateful for times like these!
The Stott's are lucky.

Now off to 427 loads of laundry, cleaning out cars, organizing, cleaning....oh the joys!
(To the Browns..I have so many cute pics. I will post them this week so you can steal them:) Maybe this week or next....
My summer is going....Both boys start soccer 3 days a week and Ash swimming every day...school in 17 days, dentist appts, school tours, school shopping....oh it all begins!)

Loved it! I can't believe it actually turned out so well, but it went by way too fast! BTW you pictures are amazing. You should frame that one of the cabin from underneath. And your car on the beach is awesome. Talk soon! Love you!

I loved your pictures, I can't wait to see the rest. I loved the one with you holding baby Penny, I just love her cheeks! The trip was so fun but went to fast. Now we are down to almost five weeks to beach. Fun post, have a fun day!! Love ya
Oh Tawny thanks for the post. I wish I could do what you do. You make me happy when you write and create again in my mind the experience. I believe that you have a gift and thanks for sharing it. WOW we did have such a wonderful time and it is really thanks to all the family. All the best cabins or prettiest scenery in the world would not compensate for ill will or selfishness or whatever. I think that you all are the best!!
