Here. we. ALMOST. go!

Time is ticking down....summer is slowly fading...

But us Stott's are trying to enjoy Summer to the last drop.
We are 6 days away from the Big Day. In fact, it's 6th grade orientation tomorrow!

This week we have mixed school errands with the pool, school shopping with nightly walks, school supply lists with play dates with friends.... I don't want to give up Summer just YET. Nope. Not ready.

In Colorado, school starts EARLY. Everything starts early!.... my kids have started soccer 3-5 days a week! Schedules are resuming and the calendar is quickly filling up. And you know me, I love Summer. This summer in CO has been quite the ride! We have loved it.

But it's almost time to give it up. And that's okay we will be ready.
In fact, today I bought hand sanitizer for the kid's backpacks, lockers, and desk's...Lot's of it.

This stuff from Bath and Body is my favorite.

and then I went and bought 16 pair of jeans. All in one shot. Done.

and then we went on our yearly shoe shopping and bought our Puma's. We are a Puma family. We love them.

I gave Ashlyn this Friendship charm to wish her good luck and good Karma for school (to reach out and make new friends)... We left so many great friends in Utah. (we will never replace!) But my kids have already made some good friends here and I am so grateful for that! (and hopefully meet more in school!)

We have loved you Summer. But it's about time....time to let go. Oh it will be hard! Now off to more paperwork for Mace's preschool, email Austin and Jake's soccer coach, organize the school supplies...and get my new Primary manual...etc!
Here. we. almost. go!

and p.s. 37 looks good!

You take the most beautiful photos!! I especially loved the pictures of all the jeans and soap. They are all set to go to school now! Enjoy your last couple of days before the craziness sets in :)
Thanks for your comment on my post. I seriously can't believe that you had to get your blood drawn TWICE a day. That is just cruel! I don't think I could have done it. But you are right, they are SO SO worth it!!

Your pics are SO pretty!! Your 16 pair of jeans made me laugh. I can totally relate. I can't believe we're in back to school mode. I miss summer already!

I'M GONE!!!! Well, Alex starts in 10 days so I have a little time with her while the others are in school. Crazy life huh. Lazy summer days only last so long and it's not long enough. Love the shoes and pants and of course hand sanitizer. Do your boys like the smelly stuff. Walmart sells non smelly-that's what Kade wanted. I can tell when you use your new camera and I love the pics. I love your night pics. Nothing better than summer night. Enjoy the last couple of days. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only crazy mom!!!! Loves.

PS Is Ry really 37!!! If so he is older than I thought.

Oh,I love how the hand sanitizer is talked about BEFORE the jeans and shoes! I love your blog. Always keeps me laughing :) No worries, I'm sure I would have written it the exact same way. BTW, I love the necklace you gave ASH - and I'm sure She'll have no problem making friends :)

Good luck with everything. We'll talk soon!
