Dear B E A C H,

Dear Beach, the Stott's can't get you out of our minds...

We sit around the dinner table and discuss our days and then in the quiet moment, Jake will all of a sudden say, "Oh I can't wait to build a big sand castle with Lexi and then play that game where we roll around in the sand...."

Then Ash and Aus will add all of their comments about HOW excited they are for the beach, they talk so fast and just can't stop the memories from flooding....

they talk and talk and talk....

Ry and I just look at each other and smile. We know how much this trip means to our kids. They have loved this tradition (13 yrs strong) every year. Cousin love, the beach, the waves. Moment's in time created that last forever in the kid's hearts!

and especially now that we live away from the family, this trip means even more.....oh we can't wait.

Bonfires, sand castles, surfing the waves, early fishing, harbor fish and chips, walking out to Ruby's, deep sea fishing, chatting all day, long runs, cousin love....!

My mind has already started the list of things to do,

to pack, to organize, teachers to call, sports to put on hold...

oh it is a chore to get ready.

But this trip to the Beach house is worth it

It is a family tradition that will continue on...

one that the kids will always remember.

The countdown is ON~
We will fly out to the ocean waves....

(yay we don't have a 36 hour round-trip drive!)
