- With new adventures at our door...from moving from Utah (after 32 years there!) we ventured to the Rocky Roads of Colorado for a dream job. I'm glad the "head of the household" is back to secure the premises. You never know the things that may occur when that little black cloud decides to come and hang over your house for a while!
he.wait a minute...thought you werent painting for a year?? LOVE that Ry leaves for a few days and you start painting! You are too funny!

what colors and rooms did you do?
OKAY...I know i know i promised ry NO paint for a year!!!..BUT he always "feels bad" for me when he leaves on a trip and he knows that painting makes me soooo happy. so he said go for it...but all he asked is that i start with the kids room...simple. It was sweet of him. AND i wouldn't have painted without his approval...we don't work that way! we both agree on any changes...!
so..we did ashlyn's room..2 walls. SHe wanted saltwater taffy pink or a lime green. i went for the saltwater taffy... perfect and pink.
Oh and when i can "really" paint..I can't wait, I have so many cool colors swirling around in my head! Lot's of ideas. woohoo.

It's always nice when Daddy comes home!!! What walls did you paint and what color. That year didn't last very long.
LOVE THE SONG!!!!!!!!!! I am back..wanted to see a picture of a FUN family this morning cause I am about to give away my kids after my morning!
oh yeah...painting the living room and dining room...I have some warm yellows and sage greens in mind..the boys room is green tea and navy,and the girls is DISNEY PINK (awful if you ask me, but they LOVE it!)
