Homecomings, hot dates, and saturday love

We are loving the weather around here.

And our weekend was crazy...

(as I am sure yours was as well!)

And first let me back up to Thurs night. I want to post b/c it was

Jake's last

football game for the season!

WE:

~ watched Jake's flag football game...

The season is over, loved it.

(Another win Thursday:)

Jakers and Ben with each touch downs way to go!

Ben and Jake. Best friends.

(they play soccer, football, basketball and baseball together.
Ben's dad, S E T H is always the coach! T H A N K Y O U seth!)

N O W, back to the weekend:

~We watched Jakers at his soccer game.

~We then decided on Halloween costumes.

Which can I say......is always a C H O R E. But fun to because the kids get so darn excited at Halloween.
I try to go with something we already have or get something cute and cheap at the Target....just depends on the year!

Mace-Spidey Man

Jake- Miami football quarterback or twin vampire with Lexi.

Aus-Miami dolphin receiver (go figure!)

Ashlyn- A very pretty witch that has a pretty dress and lots of lace and cute colors with long and flowy train (her words...)

~We also had dates with the hubby (ooh la la),

With Misty and Bri and Amber and Ty!
good times

and man I look super L O O O N G in that pic.

Jake was taking a pic of Ry and I and then Ry suddenly picked up my

big girl body and made Jake snap a pic!

don't look to close!

~We, (hubby and boys), watched NFL and college football games

~We had a 4-square competitions in the back yard,

(and I mean serious competition).
I lost B I G t i m e. But my legs were soo tired from my run...
or at least that is my excuse!

~We had cousin love,

(sleepovers...thanks Misty and Amber)

~long runs, (thank goodness for fab weather!)

and btw, my view up to the mountain house is still the best....

Here are a few pics I took of my views over the past week.

The colors are changing fast...

~ We watched cake challenges (me and the kids) and I do love HD Food Network, (I am a nerd I know) and had movie night: the Hannah Montana movie....(such a cute show! and has the greatest little songs for the kiddos...)

~I went to the movies with Kimmers!

(while hubby and the boys were in the man cave watching BYU football.

thank goodness for girlies.

~and lastly we had Gma and Gpa's Stott

OF F I C I A L H O M E C O M I N G this weekend!

(fun to say hi to the extended Stott fam..esp. Laura and her fam! cute family!)

They both gave great talks with a great message!

They L O V E D their mission.

And we must say that we are

Loving Grandpa Jerry and Suzy home.

It's fun to have them come to all the kids

sporting events....

(grandpa J never misses!)

and to have Grandpa J spend time with the boys again.

We sure missed them.

So another busy F A L L weekend behind us.
Trying to enjoy all the good moments of October.

Crazy weekend. What happened to your Maturation program post. Did you take it down forever. Too fun not to remember. I often wonder how you get so much done in a week let alone the weekend. I wonder if you make half of it up. Is it humanly possible to be as crazy as you. I just don't know. Still love ya though. That's about what we did this weekend. Decorate, figure out costumes, play and run. I love weekends!!!!

John was in awe of how far you ran. He walked in just in time to see you running and see the number 11.43. Wow. You life is always fun and full of life. I'm so happy that Ry's parents are home. Enjoy your time with them :)

See you soon!

It was great to catch up with you guys. Your family is so cute. And wasn't the mission report so great? I loved their talks.
