Thirdly, Shoe Shopping....can anyone relate to me?? We take the chance of buying new shoes without the kids with us to try them on, we bring the shoes home and they never ever fit!?! They are either way to big or to small! Plus, in Utah we have the added bonus of buying shoes for every season......flip flops, tennis shoes, soccer cleats, snow boots, church shoes, slip-ons, go-go boots and of course the power-ranger light up shoes.
Friday, we were at the Gateway shoe shopping. Jake needed new tennis shoes, snow boots, and church shoes. Ash needed tennis shoes for gym and Austin needed new snow boots. IT. TOOK. FOREVER. TO. PICK. THEM. OUT. And of course, Mace was messing around in the necklaces in the right of the picture.....holding his Hannah Montana purse. At the last minute, Jake spotted the Light up Power Ranger shoes. WHY do they make the light up shoes? They are so not cute , but every kid has to own at least a pair in their lifetime.....of course Ry said" yes." I, of course, said "no"...but Jake is now happily running around the house with the lights turned off as his shoes light up the walls. It doesn' t take much to make a kid happy.
Lastly, Mace just told me to "Weave him a-wone, he is watching football like his dad!" Like father, like son. Good thing Ry has 3....he is loving every second with his boys. A dream come true.

totally coveting the license plate! i wanted to get one that said briechz - how cute would that've been? - but big b didn't care, he said that it cost extra $$. boo, he's a whore!
anyway, i also find it hilarious that mace will carry a hannah montana purse around AND watch football...weird, but i love it!
Too bad Jake hasn't grown out of the light-up shoes stage. I thought he would start to get beat up at school by this time. I'm glad to know that because Josh still wants them too. I try to have him wear them as little as possible...but,as you said...they love them...so why not!
"LOVE SUN" describes me more than any other title in the world. As you can tell by the title of my blog. I wish I had stolen that license plate before you dang it!
Next Summer is going to rock on and we will all go to the pool every single day. Dreaming of it right now. I'll be at the gym waiting for June so I can get tan tan tan.
