Remember this pic? It was the first snowfall on the Rockies (at the mountain house)....October of 2008.
Well here is a pic of the weather t o d a y! It is March 9, 2009. I am still living in utter cold and wearing scarves and soaking the bottom of my jeans when I run to the grocery store...aargh. (it's a white-out folks....fun commute Ry)
It has been 6 LONG, cold, frigid months...time to move on mother nature..... maybe give us a little bit of sunshine warmth? P L E A S E?
Remember? what a lovely day at the park....i miss it. i miss it. i miss it. i miss it.
Meanwhile, I have been cooking lots of good (warm)dinners, shopping for some cute Spring clothes at the lovely Buckle (don't think I will ever wear them!), training for my half marathon on my treadmill (ugh), and having fab tea parties with my little Mace man.
Like my song is singing.."it's a brand new day, the sun is shining..." So I will think good, positive thought for tomorrow, right? I have a sinking feeling it won't happen.... BUT. I know. I'll be okay. It's coming...! (it's close to park days girls...and warm, happy pool days, and mountain picnics with the fam....! woohoo)

M and D- YOu are sooo nice, thanks for the compliment... I like to blog more for the colors and songs than what I say. But blogging is quick or i wouldn't do it...this one took me about 22 min. A long blog can take an hour because the computer has to download all the pics. But font, color, is super fast and super easy.

I know how you feel..these are the last few weeks of torture till it's really Spring! Cute kids and cute blog!
OK, Tawny, inside scoop for ya from friends at ABC....
1. ABC BEGGED Melissa to be the Bachelorette. Basically, she said over her dead body. So they had to pick Jillian.
2. When they came up with the idea of Melissa on DWTS, they agreed it was a BRILLIANT idea. Melissa said YES right away.
3. Jason is PISSED OFF. Thinks they are making him out to be the BAD guy, and is not liking it at all. BUT...HE called ABC and told them that he wanted to break up with her on the Final Rose. He did NOT have to do it on National TV. They were already having problems..it was not a shock to Melissa...the only shock was that he left her for Molly.
So there. That ought a put a skip in your walk today!
I remember that park day when all the kids got wet for 2 hours straight. So fun!
OMG about the Bachelor. Did Jason call ABC before the ROSE break-up? Did the network already know that they weren't together anymore...so they asked Melissa then to be the Bachelorette? Is that why he got mad?
