It was a beautiful, warm, starry night!
Ever since we moved here my kids have been dying to use the fire pit.
I said when we were settled in we would do it.
Last night RY and I surprised them....
I went to the store and bought all the works!
Marshmallows, graham crackers and hershey bars...
Last night when we were sitting at the dinner table,
I pulled out the smores and the kids were so excited!
We decided to wait till dark...around 9:00 p.m.

the fun was to begin at dusk...
I had been invited to a girls night down the street and wanted to be home to celebrate our "fire pit" night!... (they had to wait for me..I couldn't miss it!)
Ohhhh the kids couldn't wait.
The sun sank down, the stars came out and Ry lit the fire!
It was such a beautiful night!
Still 80 degrees and warm...you could hear the crickets chirping and feel the warm breeze.
My cute friend Mary dropped me off at the house at 9:30 and the kids were out.
It was so cute. My heart was happy!
They were loving it.
You think they were camping in the mountains....
they were so happy to roast marshmallows and sit around the fire...
Our pit is awesome.
The previous owners did such a great job...we love it.
We decided to do it at least two times a week.
Come out, roast marshmallows and
enjoy the summer night air.
It was a happy moment for the Stott's.
We were saying how our cousins would love this....ahh one day.

Because we live out in the "country" we could see everything...

We all stayed out till almost 11:00 and enjoyed the night..
(we were quiet!)
We love our yard, we are outside. all. the. time.
Last night for dinner, the kiddo's brought their food out on the back porch.
It is a common thing now....eating in the warm air.. love the feeling here.
The weather is amazing.
Honestly it is.
Salt Lake is always blowing in a storm....
We seem to miss the the bad weather out here.
We have only had 2 days in 3 weeks that we weren't able to go outside.
I love love it.
For leaving all my family back home,
the happy weather sure helps our mood!
Now off to pick Ashlyn up from swimming,
