Defying Mother Nature

Living in the Mid-Western United States offers you all 4 seasons in their finest fashion:

The first awakenings of Spring:

The excitement of the small buds waking up to the morning sunshine...

The first colors of the year blossom.

To the "dog-days" of summer...

To the simple joys: playing with all the kids on the street, jumping on the tramp till it's dark, swimming at the local pools, popsicles, ice cream!

Enjoying May birthdays!

Going on picnics with cousins over the 4th of July.
Exploring and hiking the wondrous Mountains..

Lazy park days with the girls and all the kids.

Going to the pool everyday and enjoying the warm, happy sunshine.

Going on family vacations.

Simple joy of a 2 year old walk on the hot, beach sand.

Then the cool breeze settles in and the leaves begin to change. School starts, schedules resume...

and Fall makes it's debut!

Quickly the temperature drops and snow falls and falls and falls and falls!

still falling.....winter is way to long.

Then we can defy Mother Nature and hop on a plane and be off to a perfectly warm 80 degree day! Love it. Goodbye to cold, harsh snow and off to the warm equator where the happiness is! (although, I will miss the kids terribly! :) Pic of Misty and Bri
See ya soon when we get back :)

Do you only travel to warm places or can the cabin be on your list? Where will you go on vacation with ME!!!!????
I will miss you, more than I already do.

I like 4 seasons, but what it comes down to is i would be better off with spring, fall, and summer. Cut out the winter and all would be well.
