Jake's party!

Happy 7th Birthday Jake~!

I love this pic of Jake because it shows how happy he was ! Chuck E. came to the party room and did a party dance with Jake. Jake jumped up from his seat and ran to the front of the room and showed everyone his moves. I wish I had that moment taped because it was soooo funny and refreshing to see a 7 year olds pure joy of celebrating a birthday!

Jake wanted a football cake! I was sort of surprised because that's the only sport he hasn't played yet but he just informed me that he is going to play it this Spring.

Cousins are the best: Josh, Savannah, McKay, Quinn, Lexi, Landri, Gracie, Cole, Blake, Cade, Ashlyn, Austin, and Jake!

Honestly I was surprised at how well the party went. I was impressed with my service from Chuck E Cheese. I paid per head and they came through: All the kids got 25 tokens to play all of the games, 2 slices of pizza, a drink, and a personalized visit from Chuck E. himself performing the birthday dance. The birthday dance was so cute... Jake was in heaven.

We had a party table all set up in the birthday room. :)

The kids loved playing all of the games and getting tickets to go redeem for prizes.

C H U C K E. The kids loved him.....

Jake was so happy with all of the attention on him and his birthday! He loved dancing all around the room and then when everyone sang him Happy Birthday.
Thanks Kristin, Brooke, Jan, Amber, and Angela for coming to support Jakers, he loves his aunts!

The party favors. Jake's favorite treat of all time: Symphony bar with toffee chips. Yummy! (do you see my fresh lb. of cinnamon hearts?..mmm!)

Earlier in the day we took donuts to Jake's class during lunch. Ry is always at work, so it was especially fun for him to come and see Jake at school! All the boys surrounded Jake and his donuts and Ry and I were cracking up at all the funny things the boys were saying about Jake: " Jake is the coolest ever, and the fastest runner", Another boy said, "For Jake's birthday, I gave him a power blaster, buzz light year, flashing-beam pencil," another said "oh and I gave him the fuzz out of my pocket and named it Willy!", and the icing on the cake:" I love Jake, I keep giving him kisses on the cheek." WHAT!? Ry was like, "um, we don't kiss boys!" They just laughed and laughed. Happy Birthday Jake! I hope you know how much your family loves you!
