Oh my hair!

Seriously I am a geek for posting about my hair but I want my grandkids to know it could actually go straight! I was born with thick, wavy hair. When I turned 14 my hair changed: curly, curly, curly! I didn't have to do a thing to it and it would dry perfect with locks of curl! After each pregnancy, I watched the curl slowly fade away. After Mace was born, I lost most of it.(gotta love the hormones! :) Now I was faced with the new dilemma of having straight hair: palmade (sp?), chi flat iron, what a pain! I wish I had my friend Kim's hair that is sooo beautiful straight, but nope, I have a battle every morning! That is why I loooove going to the hair dresser to get my hair done! Don't think for a second that I could pull off this hair style by myself, I pay lots of money to get it this way! Hey Kim, these pics are for you, you know why! Kim is in the blue shirt...I told you her hair is gorgeous! (btw, this pic was taken in the subway in New York..funnest girls trip ever.. I need to post it! )

Tomorrow I will wake up to another fuzzy mess! I hope to keep it cute for Jake's birthday tomorrow...good luck with that one.
I asked my hair girl for tips on keeping it healthy and she said 3 things: wash it every 2-3 days (what! I work-out and sweat every day), don't blow dry it, (who has time for air dry?) and use all the great products! (too much money and doesn't work on me!) So I guess I will be happy with what I've got, cause it's mine and it's stayin'!

You are a funny girl. I think the moral to the story is we always want what we don't have. I would kill for your thick hair. I feel bald most of the time with my 10 strands of hair. :) I love the new hair cut and color. It looks awesome!!

You can't have it all. A hot body, nice skin and perfect hair. Your hair always looks fabulous. I love getting it done too. Your hair does look straight. Good luck with the b-day.

I love it Tawn! By the way, I work out every morning and I only wash my hair every two to three days AHHHHHHHHHHH GRRROOOSSSSSSE!
But I have to because I have bleached my hair fo so long it will get all nast and fall out!
Also, I NEVER dry my hair except for when I'm going out. How sad is that?
Again, I just don't want to damage it any more than it already is. BUT, even more I just don't have time to blow dry it. Do you know how long it takes my hair to blow dry? Ya like a whole hour not counting styling. So I opt to just do it when I'm going out. My poor husband could have a much cuter wife if she wanted to spend more time on it. Also, I don't have money for expensive shampoo and conditioner, altho i will tell you that bumble and bumble and pureology are my favorite, I have down graded to dove dry damaged and Pantene moisture renewal. I think they work well.
Owell.
you look great hon!
