birthday l.o.v.e

My party is finally over. over. over.

My birthday has come and gone.

It's been a fun ride now back to life.

and DO not read this post if you are sick of my bday.
Cuz to tell the truth, I sort of am too. Enough already.

(okay not really!)
But I have some cute pics. So I will simply post my day (s)

(and Laura, would you make me these cupcakes, they are soooo pretty! I know you could, you are the best at what you do!)

Ry and I's birthday rule ( here:)
Never ever work on your bday! (if you can help it!)

It's only one day a year so plan ahead and

take. it. off.

Spend it with fam, friends and do something for yourself... (the rule)

So every year, Ry takes it off for me

(cuz he doesn't want me to 'work' on my day)

and then he takes it off for him too!

Our day was great.

It's July, it's hot, it's summer and it's my bday!
So off we went:
Running, watching Ash at swim team, shopping, pool, lunch, then off to Park City!

BUT then I had a bday surprise cuz the owner said that

everything was 30% off in the store!

score for me. it was my lucky day.

I sort of "borrowed" my mom's flower centerpiece for her table during her move back from her mission.

Now that she is home, she wanted it back!

BUT I sort of just kept it cuz I loved it.

She finally had to drive to my house and take it back.

SO that is what I wanted for my bday:

Then I had my secret sister bday lunch.
It's supposed to be a surprise so we call it 'secret' but we all know we have a
sister lunch on our bdays.
Our rule:

N E V E R ever be alone and your bday.

If you don't have plans, then you hang with the girls.

always.

(so I actually had sec sis lunch the next day, not my bday!)
and I had the honor of having Bear and Em attending my lunch.

Misty was quite the hostess in her beautiful home!

and had to get a pic of Breezy!

She rushed from work to get to my party....Thanks for coming girl.

(and missed some of the sis-in-laws who worked that day!)

These summer days are the best. Ahhh don't want it to end!

We went to Park City on my birthday w/o the kids!

Ry and I love Park City because it is a 20 min drive from home

in Park City. the zip line looked soooooo fun, but I prefer the ground!)

and then you are in absolute mountain beauty.

We come up here as much as we can.

I wanted to do the Alpine Slide and eat dinner at the

B E S T Mexican joint!

Seriously the weather was perfect.
It was warm soft summer air.

I wasn't cold a bit and the air was just right.

Everything was so green because we had such a C O L D, rainy Spring.

Loving it. The ski lift is the best because it is a nice sloooow climb up the mountain.

I kept telling Ry to enjoy this nice summer moment. Sometimes I think he secretly gets tired of me saying that. :)

But we had a great time and loved loved the view!!

I was happy.

There's the slide. It is so fun,

I am sure most Utahns have done the Alpine slide. I came up here for dates in highschool and in college too. It's a great date. going up, up, up! Looking back towards Park City

I was all ready. I told Ry I was going to B E A T him down! You can go as fast or slow as you want. Of course he f l e w down the hill never touching the brake. I wanted to live, so I used the brake just a little~ went fast for me~ so fun.









After the slide we went to my favorite Baja Cantina!

outdoor seating, great food, chips and guac, warm summer night! yes

(and the B E S T fried icecream I have ever ever had. Walnuts with sugary coating. oh divine.)

Then Wed night I had girls night and we went to Johnny's.

Love the Italian food.

These girls have been my friends for 9 years!

(We have raised our kids together (mostly the same ages), shared every 'mom' moment, and laughed and cried at life! Thanks girls!)

So now my bday is over, had a great time.
Thanks for all making my day so great.

Love having so many great peeps in my life.

You all make it so sweet!
