My girl, Kim!

Happy Birthday Kim!
Okay Kim, I just got back from sister trip and it is super late but there is no way
I am going to miss your birthday-

..And I know you might kill me just a bit for putting you out here on the bloggin' world, but I'm sorry, I just had to wish my best friend Happy Birthday!!!

- Here's a few things about Kim I love:

1. It's obvious- she is a H O T mama.
For reals. Just look at her. Gorgeous face, sleek hair, and fab body. Seriously not fair. I always tell people when we first met on the street corner of our neighborhood, she pushing her 3 kids (at the time) and me sitting on my front lawn with my 3 kids, I saw her and thought, "Wow, I hope I can be friends with that Julia Roberts hot mama!"
Instantly we hit it off and we have been bestest friends for almost 8 years!
2. She loves being a mom and it shows.
Her kids come first period. She gives her all to raising her 5 beautiful (yes 5!) kids. I have always admired her commitment to mommy-hood and I really appreciate her good example.
3. She is dependable, a true friend through and through-
She will always be there for me, and I know that. She never has an ill word about anyone, and will never waiver on her friendship. She is solid and loyal as I to her, and a good friend like that is hard to come by.
I'm lucky!

4. Her love for the gospel is evident.
She is primary president in her ward and she is perfect for the job. Though she will not agree, (way to humble)
all the little kids in the ward will be blessed to have Kim guide and direct them to the truths of our gospel.
I really do use her as my reference in life. I always think, what would Kim do? and I look up to her example of the way she lives her life-
I know she puts God and family first. Awesome.
5. Lastly, she is honestly one of my dearest sister friends ever.
I know we will be friends forever. Women need women for so many reasons and I know I have needed Kim so much! Things just as simple as running to the Target for diapers or formula, or maybe a quick phone call about raising our kids, or desperately needing a GNO and getting out for the night, shopping at the Buckle.
WE can talk forever and ever....
Thanks Kimmers.

and thanks for being my girl and I promise I won't do this again! But I had to do it once for ya! Hope you enjoy 32, I am 7 days behind you....

Also as a side note, here are some crazy similarities we share:
~We are almost the exact age...7 days apart. We love July.
~ We both have 5 sisters. And we our close to our sistas. fun fun
~ We both went to BYU at the same time (not knowingly) and met and married our hubbies super fast....!
~ We both had our first 2 kids (me 3 , twins) together...In fact, Ashlyn and her Whitney are best friends now. Cute little 5 th graders....so cute! Most of our kids are the same age...
~Sad to admit, but we both love some good reality t.v! Oh yes we do....Bachelor, Survivor, just to name a few. We love our tivo.

~We also love the Buckle and some girl time shopping at the mall! We try (and yes try is the word) to look somewhat cute when we head out for the day....
~ .~.~.~.~.~.~.~
It was and still is great to share the hard mommy days with her: pregnancy, labor, sleepless baby nights, looong days, and just the simple joys of raising our babies..
Allright, enough enough, Happy Birthday Kim. Love ya lots and I hope you have a fab day...in fact I will be seeing you shortly for some good lunch and shopping!

love ya, Tawny

Brie, I laughed so hard at your WWKD? We should make bracelets. :)

Thanks Natalie. It was fun meeting you too.

WWKD ?? The Baptists or someone wear those bracelets that read...WWJD for What would Jesus Do. and then they think about it I guess everytime they look at their wrists so..... Very cute post and a deserving one at that. Isn't it wonderful to have Friends? I am sure that this world is made very bearable because of friends.
