I really do think us moms are quite extraordinaire! We keep the house running smoothly (well most of the time). Sometimes I feel we don't give ourselves enough credit for all of the work we do!
Life is crazy and taking care of our kiddos is definitely non-stop.
But I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything! (although I wouldn't mind a maid once in a while:)
Now off to the day.
Starting with hitting the sunny roads.....yay!

Sounds like my morning. Every morning when it's 830, I have had so much anxiety and ran out of patience, I feel like going back to bed. You are getting up early lately. What's up with that. We are amazing. You are amazing. I'm glad you got the kisses and hugs in. This morning I was too mad and pushed them out the door. I'm going to be nicer. Have a nice run.
This morning I went to bed at 1 am because of work so I was super tired. Josh came in bubbly before 8 and I told him to leave me alone until the 9's. Usually he does. But today he didn't. It was his "duty" to WAKE me up. He did whatever he could to bug the living HELLUVA out of me....hit Blake, kicked me, chewed loudly in my ear, beefed on my body, slammed the door, etc. and I let him succeed. I let a 5 year old piss me off. How sad is that.
Usually I get up earlier so it is that much easier to get going, but when I'm really tired, the dragon comes out! On the other hand...boosh is a child very well gifted in knowing how to push ones buttons until they almost / or sometimes do pop off! Ahhhh....what to do with him :(
Your morning sounded hectic too, but in a much more organized "happy household" way. Go girl!
I actually teared up at #33.
you managed to fit that in on a busy school morning.
Can I ask what your morning prayer is?
I think...I KNOW...my mornings could use that.
thanks for remindin gme that there is TIME for prayer...
Nat and Brooke-
I love love reading about your crazy/chaotic mornings as well!! Can I just say you both had me laughing and laughing because I soooo relate to you both! I love you girls...
and Laura..yay I heard your cyber voice..MISS YOU! and family prayer is just a habit now. They know we don't leave w/o it so they remind me as much as I remember! You are sweet, thanks for the comment! I'm thinking of you....
oh and Laura I'm happy to answer your question:
we always pray for these things in random order cuz Mace says it too:
thankful for this beautiful day we get to live-
help us have a great day at school-work hard, think well and choose the right. -protect us from any harm or danger/watch over us..
thankful for dad, mom, and the family, bless gparents on missions, and thanks for all of our blessings (the kids say what they feel.)
that is the gist of it, im sure we change it up a little bit depending on circumstances..big tests, sick loved ones..etc
we say a little bit more in the night prayer..the morning one is just to give us a good start on the day! xo
It made me tired reading your post...us moms have it rough but just think how grateful your kids will be one day that you took such great care of them!
I loved this post because it reminds me of how long our job description is and how appreciated we feel when someone acknowledges what we do.
You are a great mom - always so positive and optimistic. Your kids are lucky to have you and Ryan should be happy you're a GLM to boot!
You are INSANE. And in the good way.
I got out of bed at 11:15 today.
Woops?
